Cider & Mead Festival is back for year two
Kush Hospitality is having their 2nd Annual Cider & Mead Festival at Spillover on Saturday June 9, from 3 to 7 pm. You may remember the event last year at the Mayfair Promenade. If I remember right, it was a rainy day, yet hundreds of people came out to enjoy the event. Its the only one of its kind in South Florida.
Admission is free and the cider and meads from local brewers are free.
"In-Cider-Fest is our annual event celebrating Spillover’s anniversary and focuses on craft cider, mead and seafood. Brands will have tent space and be pouring free tastings to all," says Cristy Cernuda, marketing director of Spillover.
The free event is open to the public and friendly to dogs and kids. They’ll have craft cocktails, fresh shucked oysters, oyster shooters and fresh caught seafood available for purchase, also live music will be provided by Shake 108 a.k.a. 107.9 FM.
Who’s pouring:
Accomplice
Barcode Meadery
Broski Ciderworks
Cigar City Cider & Mead
Garagiste
Green Bench Ciders & Meads
Odd Elixir Meadworks
Slim Pickens
"And we may have more distributors join in to represent and pour other cider and mead brands. The list above is confirmed to be in attendance," says Cristy.
