Urbanism Summit at Vizcaya

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens welcomes the Urbanism Summit for a special panel discussing the challenges of preservation and making historic structures resilient. Vizcaya recognizes its vulnerability to sea level rise and climate change and is working to be a model of resilience for our community through our programmatic and preservation efforts. This panel will explore ways our community can continue practices of resiliency as we press forward into the future.

Panelists include: Joel Hoffman, Executive Director of Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
Daniella Levine Cava, Miami-Dade Commissioner, District 8
Laura Weinstein-Berman, Managing Director of the Historic Division at Vagabond Group Consulting
Vickie Toranzo, Historic Preservation Planner, City of Miami

The event is Wednesday, March 21, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.. The Panel begins promptly at 6:15 pm and is followed by a light reception on Vizcaya's East Terrace overlooking Biscayne Bay.

It is at the Main House Courtyard, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
3251 South Miami Avenue.
