Dr. Julia Cayuso to speak at Rotary luncheon

Founded in 1984, OLLI provides a relaxed learning experience for those over the age of 50 who seek continual intellectual growth. Members can choose from a wide variety of classes including history, literature, languages, the arts, current events and world affairs. Classes are taught by expert instructors, including UM faculty, in a stress-free environment.
Dr. Cayuso earned a Ph.D. in Higher Education from UM, a master’s degree from Southern Illinois University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida; she has worked at UM for over 25 years. She has taught English to adult learners in Virginia and Florida as well as Bogota, Colombia.
The Rotary Club of Coconut Grove meets every Thursday at the Coconut Grove Sailing Club, 2990 South Bayshore Drive, at 12:30 pm. The cost of the meeting is $25 with lunch or $15 without lunch.
