Bash on the Bay for Commodore's 167th Birthday

Commemorate the life of one of Coconut Grove’s most charming and influential pioneers with a Bash on the Bay. Join members of The Barnacle Society as they honor Commodore Ralph Middleton Munroe’s 167th birthday with a buffet dinner by Whisk, live music by Mr. Ree, and a silent auction on the scenic bay-front grounds of The Barnacle, Munroe’s historic home at 3485 Main Highway.

Period costumes 1851-1933 are welcome.

The event is from 6:30 to 9 pm on Saturday, March 24.

Tickets purchased by March 21 are $50 for members of The Barnacle Society and $60 for nonmembers.

At the gate, tickets are $70 for all. Admission for children ages 10 and under is $10.

For an additional $25, guests can enjoy a twilight tour of The Barnacle, silent auction preview, and complimentary champagne on the front porch from 5:30 to 7 pm. To RSVP please visit www.TheBarnacle.org or call 305-442-6866.

Proceeds generated by Bash on the Bay support historic preservation at The Barnacle. This event is sponsored by The Barnacle Society, Inc., a volunteer non-profit, citizen-supported organization created to generate public awareness, education, and financial support for the preservation and maintenance of this historic site. The Barnacle Historic State Park is administered by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
