Traffic is getting worse and lawmakers don't care
Eye on Miami has a blog post about the scam of traffic studies claiming that developers are allegedly corrupt and so is our legislature. Here is their take on that.
Basically the article says that traffic studies are bogus because developers pay off those who make the decisions about development and many of those who make those decisions are developers themselves.
It seems that these days developers have their way with whatever they want. They overtake neighborhoods and work seven days a week at all hours, they destroy greenery and the tree canopy, they do nothing about helping or fixing the infrastructure. They leave their mark, destroying neighborhoods and they are on to their next project.
