A show called, 'Roots' to be presented at KROMA
Some artists' work seems to transport you to unexpected places. Osvaldo Gonzalez’s art does exactly that: mixing equal parts mystery, surrealism and whimsy, his pieces seem to be portraits of scenes from worlds that are both fancifully exotic and eerily familiar at the same time. Don’t miss your opportunity to see Osvaldo’s work as The Shoppe by Rivet Nation hosts some of his digital and mixed-media pieces during a show entitled “Roots".
Nothing like listening to a short story with a "Cabinet of Curiosities" theme and then being transported to Osvaldo Gonzalez’s world. Tanya of Miami-Dade Storytellers will be presenting her engaging tale entitled "Charmed," which she created especially for this exhibit.
The opening for this exhibition will take place on Saturday, February 3, from 6 to 9 pm at The Shoppe By Rivet Nation inside KROMA, located at 3670 Grand Avenue.
Osvaldo’s pieces will remain available for viewing through March 31, 2018.
