A house demolition coming near you

David Villano of the Grove 2030 group sent this current list of houses with active demolition applications that have not yet been approved or denied by City staff.

"The City of Miami Planning & Zoning Department posts online a list of all demolition permits. They are posted after the permit has been approved, and after the appeal period to oppose it has ended. Grove 2030 has argued that the all demolition permit applications should be posted online as they are received, allowing neighbors or other interested parties to weigh in with concerns they may have. Planning & Zoning officials say that 'technical limitations' make that impossible, but that they could provide them to us, upon request, every few months," says David.

Below is a list of active demolition applications, which means they have not yet been approved or denied by City staff, or the appeal deadline has not ended. (This list does not include properties still standing but for which a valid demolition permit has been issued. And there are quite a few of them).
