Artists are painting seats from Miami Marine Stadium
The stadium is giving seats from the Stadium to artists so that they can create art with found objects. Photographs of the artwork will be posted in an online gallery created by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
This is reminiscent of so many Coconut Grove art projects over the years. Such a great idea.
They've had a great response so far, with over 50 artists participating! If you are an artist and you are interested in a seat from the Marine Stadium, please contact Don Worth at dontonton@gmail.com

Why??
Hi all, please note that this is the raw seat-Carolina has not done anything to it yet. The seats can be kept whole, or taken apart and incorporated into other artwork; if interested, please do contact me-Don Worth
Same thing I was wondering...
