She's back - as Hurricane Irma!

So this is an interesting turn of events. It looks like rumor has it that our friend, former Grovite AnnaMaria Windisch-Hunt is this year's King Mango Strut Grand Marshall! You may remember AnnaMaria had the best place in town for many years - the Windisch-Hunt Gallery (you can probably read 1000 stories of the fun times at the gallery here).

Well, this year, she'll be down with her contingent from Lake Worth and she'll be in the lead car playing - get this - Hurricane Irma! Although I'd like to forget Irma, it should be fun. But hopefully, the blue tarp dress - from the Hurricanes of 2005 a Strut favorite, is retired.

The Strut is Sunday, December 31, it starts at 2 pm in Center Grove.
