Vizcaya's Halloween ball was the place to be

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens hosted their 31st Annual Halloween Sundowner, on Saturday night, it is one of Miami’s most iconic events which attracts 1,000 guests each Halloween. The all-inclusive party benefits the continued preservation of Vizcaya, a National Historic Landmark. The party takes place behind the mansion, on the big patio where tents are set up over the dance floor and DJ, and it flows down toward the bay where bars and food are usually aet up.

This year’s event featured a theme of Mystery, Myth and Fantasy. Guests were welcome to dress for the theme or wear the costume of their choice.

Most guests park across the street from Vizcaya, at the former Museum of Science parking lot, so it's a lot of fun if you happen to be passing by while people are arriving. You never know who or what you'll seeing crossing South Miami Avenue!

The extravaganza featured five full open bars by Bacardi, including specialty themed drinks. The bars were further supplemented by wine and beer sponsors.

Guests were treated to delicious treats and danced the night away with live entertainment and DJ on several stages.
