Trash Talk at Vizcaya
The Bay Drift Project is called "Art, Science and Trash."
Last year, Vizcaya and Frost Science partnered with UM's CARTHE scientists to design a citizen-science experiment that could help identify where the trash that washes up along the museum's shoreline originates.
On Sunday, August 13 the community will come together with project partners at Vizcaya to explore what was learned, find out what the collaboration hopes to discover in the next year of the study, make art for the sake of science and take part in hands-on experiments.
Event activities take place 2:00 - 5:00 pm
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is at 3251 South Miami Avenue,
General admission: $6-$18. Includes admission to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. Free for Vizcaya members. Tickets can be purchased online at https://projectbaydrift.eventbrite.com
