Big news for 33 Kitchen, Chef Sebastian and Leslie

Go big or go Home is the motto of our Chef Sebastian Fernandez and this phrase applies now more than ever. Sebastian owns 33 Kitchen on Commodore Plaza along with his wife Leslie Ames, shown here.

Sebastian and Leslie just signed into not one but two different restaurants at the upcoming development, El Jardin of Little Havana. The new pedestrian walkway is under construction by Barlington Group by Martin Pinilla and James Fuller from Ball & Chain.

The new spaces will be located behind the popular bar, with an entrance at Eight Street between Union Beer and the upcoming Krispy Doughnuts. The main entrance will be from heavily trafficked Seventh Street.

The new project with be named Leslie, and will be split in two different bungalows. One restaurant will have a wood oven pizza and will be a familiar eatery with fresh ingredients.

The second restaurant will have an open kitchen with Chef Sebastian bringing new proposals and gourmet recipes according season using mostly local ingredients.

Each bungalow that has a 1,600 square feet will also have an open terrace in the hidden garden in the middle of El Jardin where customers can order from both menus at the same table.

In the meantime, 33 kitchen will continue operating in Coconut Grove.
