LoKal is having a book event and a dog event this summer
LoKal has a couple of events coming up in late summer. On the heels of our story on the Little Libraries, it's nice to see they are continuing their love of books by having a Book Event on Saturday, July 29.
From noon to 5 pm, Bookleggers will be joining LoKal to give books away. One book per person. If you'd like to purchase an additional one, it's only $2. Buy two, get a Pabst Blue Ribbon beer free! They are also accepting book swaps
On Saturday, August 5, from noon to 5 pm, there is a Dog Event.
They will be collecting all donations to help furry friends at shelters. Dog toys, blankets, food, etc. All dogs joining us for lunch gets half off a homemade meal from LoKal.
LoKal is located at 3190 Commodore Plaza.
