Grove NET office has new home
The Coconut Grove NET Office has moved to Miami City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive. For more information, please contact Madelin Pacheco, NET Administrator, at 305-606-7314 or mpachecho@miamigov.com.
For years, the NET office was on one side of the Glass House in Peacock Park and the Chamber of Commerce on the other side. I enjoyed many merchants and police meetings in that office. Well, maybe not enjoyed, but attended. That's where Felice Dubin started putting me on committees, right in that glass office.
Then the NET office moved to the Oak Street garage on Mary Street.
As for the Chamber, they have been on the move since they left the glass house. As far as I know, they are still looking for a location after deciding to leave their current location, which I believe is on Florida Avenue.
