I usually don't like to announce closings, unless it's a Grove institution, but this was posted on the Vino's in the Grove Facebook page this past weekend. Just another sign of "progress."
It is with a sad heart that we announce that Vinos in the Grove will be closing our doors at the end of April. Regrettably after 5 years we were not able to come to an agreement with renewing our lease. Between the significant rent increase and construction that would entail losing our upstairs space, staying at our present location would not be possible. We cherished being in the Grove community and are extremely grateful to our loyal customers and fantastic staff. We will be continuing with our scheduled events this month which includes many talented musicians, artists and performers. We will be throwing a good bye party Saturday night April 29th, details to follow.
On a positive note we have secured a spot in Delray Beach to relocate to and expect to be open in the fall.

Emily and staff ran a very cool and friendly business, excellent wine collection and food. Best wishes for you and new venture in Delray Beach.
The Same is happening with the tenants at Cocowalk for the new construction being forced out by landlord and given $XXXXX, based on remainder of the lease. The rent is so high at the bottom floor that 2nd floor tenants cannot afford to move down. What are we going to have at the end?
Hopefully their Key West location will remain open for a few more years. Such a shame that these long time establishments are moving out.
