Watch Group meeting to discuss preserving the Grove
There is a community meeting on Wednesday, February 8. The new Grove Watch Group is holding the meeting to continue an April discussion on preserving the nature, character and heritage of Coconut Grove.
The meeting is from 6 to 7:30 pm at Plymouth Church, 3400 Devon Road.
In April, a similar meeting discussed issues of concern, many related to tree canopy, lot-splitting, code enforcement and architectural compliance. As an outgrowth of that meeting, Grove Watch Group was formed by concerned neighbors.
They are planning on continuing the dialogue and updating all that has happened up to this point. They will offer support to empower neighbors and supply information which will help us all work together to preserve the nature, character and heritage of our community.
