Special E.R.I.C. show at The Grove Spot
"I'm especially excited about this gig--both Fred and BeBob have fully recovered from recent life-threatening illnesses, and are playing better than ever. And Bobby T., one of the best percussionists on the planet, is playing better than ever. And I've written several new tunes for this show, which are--you guessed it--better than ever. I really hope you can join us," says Eric Wagner, group member.
The Grove Spot concert is from 8 to 11 pm.
E.R.I.C. features 3-time Grammy winner Robert “Bobby T.” Thomas, Jr., (Weather Report; Joe Zawinul) on drums, South Florida jazz legend Robert "BeBob" Grabowski on upright electric Kydd bass, former Atlantic Records recording artist and South Florida jazz guitarist Fred Hsai on electric guitar, and South Florida singer-songwriter Eric Wagner on vocals and acoustic guitar.
E.R.I.C. is known for its musically dynamic and compelling live show, featuring danceable original tunes with clever lyrics and musical twists, played in a folk jazz rock jam improv style by virtuosic musicians.
And just so you know, the Miami New Times ranks Bobby T. #2 among South Florida's Top Ten Jazz Musicians; BeBob is #3.
The Grove Spot is at 3324 Virginia Street.
