Holiday evening at Vizcaya

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is presenting a Holiday Evening at Vizcaya, an old-fashioned celebration honoring the inauguration of the grand estate as well as Vizcaya's centennial. This family-friendly event takes place on Wednesday, December 14, from 6 to 9 pm.

James Deering came to Vizcaya on Christmas Day 1916, so the grand house will be commemorating his arrival with a grand celebration.

Bask in live music, hot chocolate and wreath-making as you take pleasure in the beauty of the illuminated estate as seen at night-a rare treat that available to the public only a few times per year.

Tickets are $20 for General Public and $15 for Vizcaya Members. Children under age 5 get in for free. This is a ticketed event and tends to sell out each year, so guests are encouraged to purchase their tickets online in advance.

Purchase online here. Guests will also enjoy Guests must be on site by 8 pm to be admitted. Refunds for late arrivals not granted.

Vizcaya features a Main House, 10 acres of formal gardens, a rockland hammock (native forest), mangrove shore, the Vizcaya Café and Shop presented by A Joy Wallace Catering, Design and Special Events, and a historic village that will be restored for additional venues for programs and community outreach.
