Gymnation is opening second Grove location

Gymagination is opening it's new Coconut Grove location on January 11, 2017 at Virrick Park, 3255 Plaza Street.

Gymagination is a gymnastics program that offers classes for children ages 2 1/2 to 12 years. Classes are based on USA gymnastics standards, the governing body of our Olympic US gymnastics team. Classes will be offered by ages groups.

Kids will learn all of the basics for floor, bars, beam and vault and include the appropriate equipment. The programs are non competitive, but teach technically correct gymnastics in a fun, developmentally appropriate way. Classes will be offered on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays in cooperation with the City of Miami after school programs at Virrick and Peacock Parks.

Gymagination was founded in 2003 and  is directed  by Stayc Sharrow Simpson and her husband Mike Simpson. Stayc and Mike are Coconut  Grove residents. Ms. Stayc comes with over 30 years of teaching experience and is nationally known for her preschool gymnastics/sports/music programs.

Her programs have been featured in numerous state, national and international events. Her educational background is in Early Childhood Education and Development. Stayc is also a three time cancer survivor and is extremely active in the Coconut Grove area raising money and awareness for different cancer charities.
