Champagne and ice cream flow as gallery celebrates
Grove Gallery & Interiors had a big party on Saturday night, they practically lit up all of Bird Avenue. Bright lights, valet parking an ice cream truck to greet you as you entered, tons of balloons - they had it all to celebrate their 30th Birthday!
"It was quite the bash with champagne flowing, an ice cream truck and a great DJ (the cops were even called!) We got lucky with the weather and were able to keep our dance floor outside along with our interactive canvas where the guests were invited to create a piece of art along with the mural artists Andrea Karahalios and Ricardo Oliveira. A great time was had by all and we were able to raise quite a bit for Arts For Learning," says Janel Kuhl, Chief Design Officer.
The partnership with Arts for Learning is their way to support the growth of their industry to the next generation of artists in the Grove. Arts for Learning (A4L) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing teaching and learning through the arts and community cultural resources. As a leading source of arts programs in Miami, A4L provides traditional and arts-integrated instruction, student studio programs, afterschool and summer programs, high school internships, and teacher and artist professional development. A4L’s services are delivered to more than 120,000 children and youth in approximately 50 schools, preschools, after-school programs, and summer camps throughout Miami-Dade and Broward.
