Flower power

It was quite colorful at lunchtime on Wednesday, as Jet Fresh Flowers took over the front of CocoWalk and handed out full bouquets of flowers to passersby.

For the second year in a row, the Society of American Florists is taking part in this feel-good trend through its Petal It Forward campaign, leveraging study findings on how flowers have an immediate impact on happiness and a long-term positive effect on moods. It was so great to just look around Center Grove and seeing people walking around with bouquets of colorful flowers. It really did put a smile on everyone's face.

Sandbar Grill was originally the location of the promotion, but it ended up being more in the center of town. Random people were given two bouquets, one to keep and one to share.
