Can the village be made more appealing?
If the County or City doesn't care, perhaps CocoWalk could make it nice on their own?
Places like New York City are full of tulips in the spring and other flowers at other parts of the year, including winter. Why can't we do the same for Coconut Grove?

We need a sculpture or a tall Coco clock in the middle of that junction
South Florida's version of tulips is Impatiens for the winter and Caladiums for the summer. Both grow full enough to cover the roots...as long as there is enough soil to plant them in.
Village? Not until the neighborhood of Coconut Grove incorporates like South Miami, Pinecrest, Key Biscayne, Doral, etc. etc. did years ago. Coconut Grove is in the hands of developers and short term profit-minded interests. Nothing Coconut Grove residents can do about it. Or perhaps we could become serious about incorporating. It will take determined residents to raise a Village.
First we need a flag and then a mascot.
To late my friend
