Strada and Farinelli 1937 to raise funds for Amatrice
The historic small mountainous town suffered some of the worst damage, changing the lives of over 2,000 residents and turning their town of great historical value down to a pile of rubble.
Amatrice is the home of the famous Amatriciana sauce made with guanciale (cured pork cheek), tomato, onions, and pecorino cheese. Amatriciana is one of the most popular sauces in Italian cuisine and is even recognized by the Italian government as a traditional argo-alimentary product.
Graspa Group has created a fund in order to help the residents of Amatrice and all the other victims of the earthquake. All proceeds will go to The Italian Red Cross to directly aid the effort in rebuilding the communities that were destroyed.
As proud members of the Italian community, Strada in the Grove and Farinelli 1937 have joined Graspa Group in this important cause.
From September 15 to December 15 they will be offering an Amatriciana Special every day for lunch and dinner. They will donate $2 for each Amatriciana special ordered.
If you would like to make a larger donation, you can that here.
