Bicyclist in the dark
As the seasons change, it's getting darker in the mornings. When I leave for the gym now at around 7 am, it's still dark out. I noticed at that time that many of the bicyclists don't have reflectors or any sort of light on them or the bicycle and many of them wear black. Not a good combination.
When there are three or more, they tend to take over the center of the road. So while you're diving you suddenly come upon them out of nowhere and you have to have fast reflexes to avoid an accident.
Early weekend mornings, there are sometimes 100 of them, more or less, at CocoWalk, where they meet up. I should take a video when they all leave CocoWalk at the same time, it's a scene to behold. I did it once before, I don't know where I put the video, but I stand on the median on McFarlane and they fan out toward me as they leave for their ride. Here I am explaining it, when I should just show it. Maybe next weekend.
