Glass & Vine receives great review by Herald

Kendall Hamersly at the Miami Herald wrote an excellent review of Glass & Vine.

At one point in the review he says, "Our order of sea scallops with charred cabbage had some downsides. For one thing, you get just two sea scallops, albeit beautifully seared in brown butter, chopped and scattered about the big plate under a snowdrift of charred cabbage leaves. A black truffle vinaigrette helps somewhat, but this is largely a $22 platter of cabbage leaves."

I had the same reaction about the sea scallops, but not because the sea scallops were few, but because they were raw. I also was not a fan of the blackened broccoli, which was totally black, not green at all!  My fav were spicy lamb ribs. Kendall liked them, too.

And of course, you can't beat the location. Best in the Grove!

Here's his full review of Glass & Vine.

I agree about the scallops. The waitress warned us that there were only two, however. Still, I was disappointed in the entire dish. The watermelon salad was very unusual, but great.

Here's a tip for dining at Glass & Vine: the best seats are outside but you must be more than two people to sit there. Otherwise, you will have to sit inside, which is crowded and very, very noisy. Another tip: save room for dessert. Delicious choices.
