Free Historic Coconut Grove bike tour
The Free Historic Bicycle Tour of Coconut Grove is Saturday, May 7 from 9:30 am till noon.
Meet in front of City Hall (3500 Pan American Drive) and explore the South Grove. The tour will end up at Merrie Christmas Park on LeJeune Road and you'll learn who the park is named after. Enjoy the banyans and check out the unusual house designs in the neighborhood - Middle-Eastern, Thai, Japanese, etc.
See the quaint home of Marjory Stoneman Douglas, master writer and mother of The Everglades. Throughout the tour, delight in the 'roads less traveled' of verdant South Coconut Grove.
