Meeting about proposed road projects

The Grove 2030 Transportation Working Group invites you to learn more about the upcoming projects - Main Highway and Bayshore Drive Roadway Improvement Projects and how they may impact our community now and in the future.

Plus, learn about Grove 2030’s efforts to reduce traffic and increase mobility throughout Coconut Grove.

The event is open to everyone on Tuesday, April 19, 6:30 pm at the Coconut Grove Sailing Club (2990 S. Bayshore Drive).

Officials from the City of Miami and Miami-Dade County will present details of the projects, answer questions, and listen to community feedback.

Improve the traffic by removing the empty trolleys that circle the grove. They don't exceed 20mph and come to a crawl near every scheduled empty bus stop. Finding yourself stuck behind these is slow torture.

I believe humanities love of their insulated air conditioned, AM/FM WI/FI Stereophonic music systems, leather or cloth cushioned seating, airbags and safety glass darkened windows and back up camera's will continue to clog streets and highways, including those of coconut Grove, until autos & trucks become obsolete, which I don't see until the population is reduced to around 500-M, which probably won't take all that long. Please be patient!?
