Live art a part of FAM Night

CocoWalk had a special presentation Saturday night with live art drawn on canvases on the ground, all this while drummers did their thing behind them. Here is the before image.

And here is the after piece. Lots of people stopped to watch. It was a good part of FAM Night. I'll have other stories of FAM night during the week.

Friends met up at the FrameWorks Gallery, from left Rafael Gutierrez, Pamela Rose Epstein, M. Peggy Quatro, Erika Bruce and in back, Peter Johan Studl. They all said they would be at Sunday's Gifford Lane Art Stroll. That was the "goodbye expression" of the evening, all over the Grove last night, whenever someone would go home at the end of the night, they would say, "See you at Gifford Lane tomorrow!"

Saturday night was one of the busiest nights I have seen in the Grove for a long time. It started Friday afternoon, around 3 pm. I was standing in the center of town and I looked around and there were people everywhere. Lots of people. I asked someone about it and they said perhaps it was due to spring break, but I think it is just part of the Grove's renaissance. We're getting a lot of press and there are so many new restaurants opening that there is a buzz going around and people want to be part of it.

The few galleries we have (we need more, lots more) were packed, the restaurants were packed, there were families all over the streets; lots of people enjoyed the live art at CocoWalk; FAM Night really was an event.

I do not know all the places where art was being shown. Is it possible to do so as this would make it easier to visit the galleries and other venues?
