Walk with the Animals is Saturday
It's a day of fun and all proceeds benefit the animals at the Humane Society of Greater Miami.
The one mile stroll around Bayfront Park (with or without your dog) is designed to raise funds. Walkers will have a registration form where they collect donations from friend. People walk as individuals or in groups, called "packs."
Check in is 8:30 am and the walk begins at 10 am, there is entertainment from 9 am to noon.
Grand Marshall is Commissioner Sally A. Heyman; Emcees are Ryan Phillips from NBC6 and Radio Host Julie Guy from WLYF.
Over 400 homeless dogs and cats are cared for daily by the Humane Society and the money raised will help care for them.
