12x12 - virtual spaces as a performance

The 12x12 Project at KROMA Gallery, curated by Rodney Jackson is on exhibit until January 10, 2016. You can see it Saturday night as part of FAM Night.

12x12 is a project that encapsulates numerous visual art mediums. It allows participating artists to create a 6'x6' installation beginning with any of the traditional or new mediums. Each artist will then incorporate written testimony and video into "progress confessionals," that they will post in social network environments. This will allow the audience to engage with the artists and their process leading up to to opening night. So in this respect, the 12x12 project will also occupy virtual spaces as a performance.

KROMA is located at 3670 Grand Avenue. Hours are noon to 7 pm daily. Hours might differ on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Closed Sunday. For info: 305-446-5150.
