Miami Marlins pitcher holding ProCamp
Miami Marlins all-star pitcher Jose Fernandez is holding an the AARP Jose Fernandez Parent / Child Baseball ProCamp on Saturday, December 12 at the Boys and Girls Clubs. The camp is open to boys and girls in grades 1–8 of all skill levels and positions. Both parents and children are expected to participate in the camp.
Fernandez and camp coaches will offer tips and instruction. Campers will experience various stations specializing in fundamental baseball skills and will participate in games and contests. Campers will be placed in small groups by age to ensure that each camper gets maximum instruction.
Each camper will receive an autograph from Jose Fernandez (item provided – outside items not permitted), a limited edition AARP Jose Fernandez Baseball ProCamp t-shirt and a camp team photo with Jose Fernandez.
The camp is from 9 am until noon at the Club at 2805 SW 32 Avenue.
