Christmas tree lighting ceremony is Sunday, Dec. 13
CocoWalk is going to give the Christmas tree another go. The 3rd Annual
Christmas Tree-Lighting Extravaganza will take place Sunday, December 13 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm. The tree will be lit at 6:30 pm by City of Miami District
2 Commissioner Ken Russell.
This holiday themed event will include activities such as a bounce house, arts and crafts, pictures with Santa Claus, and live performances by Three Sheets to the Wind at 4:00 pm and Bridgeprep Arts & Minds Academy at 5:00 pm.
You are encouraged you to bring unwrapped toys to the ceremony, which will be donated to the St. Alban’s Child Enrollment Center as part of the annual toy drive. Toys will be collected until December 14 and can be dropped off at the BID, CocoWalk or Sunset Place offices from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday. The toys will be delivered to the school on December 15 .
