St. Hughes-Steinway Concert Series continues

Aisha Syed made her debut at age eleven with the Dominican Symphony Orchestra performing Max Bruch's Violin Concerto in G minor. She is now 26, and a remarkable virtuoso thrilling audiences world-wide.
She makes her first appearance at St. Hugh back from her Fantasy World Tour to Europe and South America. Her program includes favorite virtuoso pieces by Pablo de Sarasate, “Carmen Fantasie” and “Romanza Andaluza”, and Paganini’s “La Campanella” from his Violin Concerto No. 2.
Aisha plays the 18th Century Antonius Pelizon, on loan from Florian Fine Violins.
Tickets are available for $45 (first 8 rows) and $30 (the next 9 rows) and can be purchased online at sthughconcerts.org , by phone at 305-318-5008, or at the Church Office at 3460 Royal Road. Group rates and student rates are available by calling the box office phone.
Future concerts this season include a Friday, February 5, 2016 concert by Arturo Chacón-Cruz, tenor, singing operatic arias and favorite Mexican songs, and on Friday, April 8, 2016 Artistic Director Roberto Berrocal, solo piano.

Roberto Berrocal's concert last year was amazing.
This series is a great addition to the local arts scene + parking is free and there is wine and cheese after the performance + an opportunity to meet the artists.
