The Coconut Grove Chamber of Commerce had their latest mixer atop Park Grove, overlooking beautiful Sailboat Bay. About 100 people attended. Recognition was given to local business for their contribution to the Grove: David Martin, Park-Grove; Mercy Hospital, Regions Bank, PointeGroup, Timo Kipp. Mayfair; the new owners of Cocowalk, Arquitectonica and the Sonesta Hotel. Alice Bravo from Miami-Dade Transit spoke about outreach plans to promote use and access to public transportation.
The Chamber's next event is their December luncheon, where District 2 Commissioner Ken Russell is guest speaker.
