So will the gang that strangled the Strut for the last 5 years going to do it again this year. If they're meeting at Greenstreets, you can bet that Sarnoff's fingerprints will still be visible.
It's time to clean house, and the Mango Strut is as good a place to start as any.
I hope they spoof this year's elections. Maybe have someone wearing a mask of Teresa's face which is removed only to reveal a mask of Marc.
Al, I wonder what the details are that prompted you to say that? Since I have moved back to the Grove and plan to make my move permanent for the foreseeable future I have decided to become more involved in the community. I read this blog daily to keep up with what is going on and I went to my first Mango Strut meeting last week. I will be participating in the fundraising in front of Milam's on Sunday afternoon. The Sarnoff's were not at the meeting that I went to last week and there was no mention of them. All I witnessed were a group of people, most of whom have been with the Mango Strut for a heck of a lot longer than 5 years, who seem to want to put on the best event possible. I saw nothing that would lead me to believe that they want to strangle or ever have wanted to. So, I am curious as to the details of how "the gang" strangled it in the past and how you think that they might continue to do so.

Glad you asked. It just so happens that I've written a couple stories about the Strut after they had their split with Glenn Terry, and Sarnoff became their principal sponsor and protector.

I love, that although he made is seem somewhat rhetorical, stating his belief before asking, Mr. Sullivan did ask the question.
The answer was already known to most. That thing has been watered down to the point of being... pointless.
