Grove Elementary Parent Mixer and Fundraiser
Coconut Grove Elementary School is having Parent Mixer and Fundraiser at The Bookstore on Wednesday, October 21 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. This is their third time doing this. You can meet and mingle with the school families, there will be complimentary drinks and hors d'oeuvres, raffles and fun sitters for the kids. The annual Bookstore Book Fair will take place with special sections for age appropriate foreign language books.
The Coconut Grove PTA annual fundraising helps fund educational programs and campus improvements thanks to the generosity of families and community friends. If you can, please pledge your support to the CGE PTA. In 2014-2015, the PTA funded the Accelerated Reader Program, School Website, Special Needs Funds, New Circulation Desk for the Media Center, New Stage Curtain, Field Trips, Teacher Appreciation, Principals Honor Roll, Movie Nights among many other needs fulfilled.
In addition to the annually supported programs, this year the PTA’s goals include purchasing $5,500, in supplemental instructional materials, $1,000 in new PE equipment, and funding student computer maintenance and enhancements. With your help, they can reach, and exceed their goals. No donation is too small. All donations to the Coconut Grove Elementary
PTA are tax deductible and can be made at the Parent Mixer.

Earmark your donations for fun stuff for the kids, like field trips. Instructional material purchases should come out of the administration's budget!
