Regatta Park grand opening party is Saturday

What looks to be the social event of the season is tomorrow's grand opening party for Regatta Park. On Saturday, September 26, there will be a full day of events including free yoga, which starts at 9 am. Free yoga will continue for the next month, thanks to Bikram Hot Yoga (2500 SW 28 Lane), which will be offering free yoga classes each Monday in Regatta Park, starting at 6 pm from September 28 through October 19. Look for their orange flag for the location each week.

At 11 am the official grand opening takes place, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, the new dock master building will have an open house at Dinner Key Marina.

Activities include face painting, prizes, games, balloon artists and more. Free barbecue for the first 200 attendees.

Solar Dogs will be performing from noon until 2 pm.The park is at 3400 Pan American Drive. For info, please call 786-314-6775.
