New Greek restaurant Ergon to open at 6 pm

Fried eggs on toast with staka cream.
Ergon, the new Greek restaurant at 2982 Grand Avenue, opens tonight, Wednesday, September 16 at 6 pm. This place looks fantastic.

The restaurant has its roots in Greece, with many locations throughout that country. Here in the US, there are only two, Coconut Grove and Weston.

Ergon offers delicious meals to eat on premises or for take-out and they have packaged Greek food for you to take home.

Their food is traditional Mediterranean at a great price. Their concept is to have a unique quality of every dish that is authentic Greek in nature or ingredient. ERGON is Greek for "work or vocation," but also is the final product of the work.

They offer fine dishes along with take-out prepared foods like olives and coffees and honey, syrups, pasta, herbs and wine.

Their normal operating hours will be 11 am to 10 pm. No reservations are needed, or taken. So
Thomas Douzis, owner, tells me that starting tomorrow, they will be open daily at 11 am, but tonight, enjoy the soft opening at 6 pm.
