Just looking at her screams:

"Politics as usual"

Does it not?

I did find it slightly humorous that the candidate that is constantly described as "an outsider" has a fundraiser hosted by the current mayor of Miami.

No doubt that all of you that read the Coconut Grove Grapevine are consciences residence of District 2 that plan to exercise your right to vote for a new Commissioner that will represent us for the next four years. Be sure to dedicate some time reviewing each candidates qualifications and previous efforts and commitments to protecting and enhancing our quality of life. Being the spouse of a previous Commissioner may qualify one as a charity host/hostess. Caring about a park in front of one’s house qualifies you as a good neighbor. But we deserve a new Commissioner that can offer more.

Grace came by my house on Saturday as she was going door to door in the North Grove. Previously, I didn't know much about her and wasn't quite sure who to vote for but I think she would make an excellent commissioner in this district. She will have my vote. She's been an activist in the Grove (fighting Grove Harbor by suing all the way to the Florida Supreme Court, for example) for over 20 years. I don't agree with absolutely everything she says but what is clear is that she is professional, has thought this through and is on the side of us Grovites. Some above have made some snarky comments, but if you do some research you will probably argree that she is the best hope for the Grove going forward especially given the alternatives.
