FrameWorks demolition party
There is a Demolition Party on Friday, September 18 at 5 pm with sledgehammers and hardhats and food and drink! Permits have been issued, now it's time to renovate.
Cris Sweeny, one of the owners of the property tells me that Homegrown Thai Bistro & Bar has signed a lease and they are the new tenants. Excellent addition to the restaurant mix on Commodore Plaza. FrameWorks will take the space on the second floor, so after renovation, two businesses will be in that one location, sort of the opposite of when I was concerned about one business eating up the space of many businesses which is happening in other locations around the village.
FrameWorks is at 3196 Commodore Plaza.

Great that there will be still more food options in the Grove! I hope they are a tremendous success.
BTW, after your painful mea culpa over the Coyo restaurant announcement, the word on the street is that you were right the first time. The operators are Coyo but they will likely open under a different name due to the fact that it is envisioned as a "pop-up" and could close if the site is redeveloped.
How about starting a running list of all the new restaurants scheduled to open in the Grove? What's the latest with the Mandolin opening on Commodore Plaza? Also, any news on what is planned for the two restaurant spaces on Main Highway next to Greenstreet's?
It makes no diff as long as the food continues to be great throughout the Grove.
