Try Fornaro's superstitious dish

That special day is coming to Fornaro Restaurant, which happens every 29th of each month. They serve a special dish once a month. The superstitious Gnocchi Della Fortuna dish (shown here) stems from a legend dating back to the 8th century where placing money under a plate symbolized wishes of prosperity. Therefore, on the 29th of each month, guests are invited to honor this ritual with a symbolic gnocchi entrée.

In addition, the menu has been completely revamped and is now over 12 pages long.

Fornaro Italian Restaurant is located at 2750 SW 26 Avenue.

Presently, they are only open from 6 to 11 pm, Tuesday through Sunday.

You can reach them at: 305-668-8888.

Steamed mussels in white wine, basil and garlic.
