We may be finally getting our trolley service
It seems that Sarnoff got private funding for two of the four trolleys needed for the Grove trolley route, he believes it will take four of them to operate efficiently. One trolley will be paid for by the BID, which was a surprise to them, but Sarnoff controls the BID, so basically he is paying for the trolley, the other trolley is said to be paid for by business owners in Coconut Grove.
The other two may come from the city. The county has been hesitant to give up it's bus service through the Grove and that has been a big delay over the years in the Grove getting it's own trolley line. It's just interesting that around election time, in November, that's when the trolley service will start.
