Vino's wine tasting to support Slow Food Miami
Vinos in the Grove is having a charity wine tasting this Thursday, June 18. They will donate the proceeds of their $10 wine tasting to Slow Food Miami.
Vinos has the monthly wine tasting every month on the third Thursday.
Slow Food Miami is a local organization that supports the local community by building edible school and community gardens, encouraging the enjoyment of foods that are local, seasonal and sustainably grown through education and interaction with local growers and artisan food makers. This month’s tasting includes a line-up of venerable wines from Chateau St-Jean; Etude; Penfolds and Stags Leap along with a sampling of locally grown bites and a primer on the part that Slow Food Miami plays in the International Slow Food Movement.
The event is from 7 to 9 pm at Vinos, 3409 Main Highway.
