Gymnation for toddlers at Peacock Park

Gymagination is bringing its Gymnastics program to the Peacock Park Recreation Center, June 24, inside the Peacock Park Recreation Center. Kindermusik is an international music program that specializes in music classes for ages 0-5 years. They will be offering two classes on Wednesday mornings, both programs have adult participation. 

They'll continue to offer programming for children ages 3-5 years at the Miami Conservatory of Music.  They currently have a camp for that age group July 20-24, mornings for only $99 for the week. The regular classes, Laugh & Learn for ages 3-4 and Move & Groove for ages 4-5 years will begin in August on Tuesday afternoons.

 The Gymnastics program has been offering gymnastics, movement and music classes for children since 2003. The Gymnastics curriculum is designed for children ages 18 months through 12 years of age and combines music, gymnastics and imagination. Children learn to love technically correct gymnastics and movement while at the same time develop keys skills in social, emotional, physical and cognitive educational areas. The curricula is based on the USA Gymnastics standards for gymnastics.. Each instructor is a USA Gymnastics member and safety certified.

Gymnastics classes are being offered during the summer on Saturday in the morning. GYM 4  for ages 4-8 years at 9:15 am, GYM 2 for 2 ½-4 year olds at 10:00 am and GYM with Parent for ages walking to 2 ½ years at 10:30 am.

Gymagination is directed and founded by Stayc Sharrow Simpson (Ms. Stayc). Stayc is Coconut Grove resident and comes with over 25 years of teaching experience and is nationally known for her preschool gymnastics/sports/music programs. Her programs have been featured in numerous state, national and international programs. Her educational background is in Early Childhood Education and Development. Stayc is a Kindermusik educator and business owner.
