FAM Night is Saturday night

Saturday, June 6, FAM Night is back in the Grove; from 7 to 10 pm. There is fashion, art and music throughout the Grove. The drum circle will be at the entrance to The Barnacle, so check that out.

Jose Regalado's "Rapture of the Deep" exhibit is still at the Arts Festival Gallery so if you haven't seen that, it would be a good night to check it out. FAM Night is fun whether there are a lot of people or a handful. The gallery is at the Mayfair Atrium. The image above is called Flow. Jose's work is all about underwater, which he has explored on his many adventures being an underwater photographer for several cable tv networks. More on the exhibit here.

Musicians will be around the Grove, Vinos on Main Highway always has something going on and one of the guys at Panther is an artist, I told him last week about FAM Night and said it might be a good idea if he shows his work on Saturday, so that may happen.

The Bookstore always has a theme night on Saturdays. This week it's Southern Dinner. They'll have everything from fried green tomatoes to Lump Crab Cakes, Fried Catfish, St. Louis Style Pork Ribs, Steak and so much more. Sides include collard greens, sweet corn fricassee, Carolina red rice and more.

Stroll the Grove and find excellent things - fashion, art and music a every turn. The boutiques around the village get involved and always have something special going on. Like The Sale Rack last month.
