Bernie Sanders fans having a meet up

Local fans of Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will be holding a meet up on Wednesday, June 24. Berries in the Grove will be the venue for local attorney Bruce Jacobs' "Bernie Meetup." Bernie will not be present.

"I was just a lawyer fighting banks and debt collectors. I had enough of Banksters corrupting our courts and democracy. I never imagined getting involved in politics. When Bernie started his campaign I signed up to hold a Miami for Bernie Meetup. The Miami seed of a national grassroots movement of Republicans, Democrats and Independents fighting to elect Bernie Sanders as President," says Bruce

"We have a donor class that is corrupting our government.  The founding fathers never imagined Bankers and multinational corporations would be more important than We the People" Bruce went on.

The event is upstairs at Berries in Coconut Grove ofrom 8 to 9:30 pm. Stay for dinner or drinks.

Berries in Coconut Grove is located at 2884 SW 27 Avenue. For info: Votebernie@jakelegal.com

Just what we need, a professioal politician who is a socialist - must still be a few old hippies in the Grove with fried pot brains who think he woul be a good leader for our country.

Bernie is an interesting candidate. There is so much wrong with our government today and Bernie wants to do what he can to make things better for the other 99%.

Some of his ideas may be extreme from a financial standpoint but what other candidates are saying about controlling women's bodies and the role of religion in politics is just as extreme and also frightening to a lot of people.

Bernie Sanders just might win D.C.'s three electoral votes in 2016 if he's the nominee; that's about it!
