We lost a friend

Just found out that Tim Grand passed away last week. Many of you will recognize him from his photo here, he was almost glued to his two beagles. He would sign his comment posts here in the Grapevine as "The Guy with the Two Beagles."

Tim was a great guy, I would spend time with him often. He was funny, very intelligent and a great guy to be around.  He would send me story ideas and photos often. Lately I would see him on weekend mornings at The Bookstore. He always started the day with a large iced coffee. Black.

You'll notice in the obit that it mentions that Tim worked for Crispin Porter + Bogusky. Just last week, another great Grovite, founder of the agency, Samuel Crispin passed away. Here is his obit.
