A couple of new purchases

The building at Douglas and Grand has sold for $2 million dollars, that's the castle-style building on the corner across from the parking lot. The address is 3386 Douglas Road. The building was built in 1939.

Latin American buyers purchased the 7690 square foot building, which is fully leased.

There are no current plans for the building at this time. Most likely it will become mixed use down the line - condos and retail.

The FrameWorks building was purchased recently by the ladies who own FrameWorks - Claire and Cris. People are thrilled that the PointeGroup didn't get this one. The plan is to split FrameWorks and rent out half while operating FrameWorks on the other half. They are located across from the post office, the yellow building on the corner of Commodore Plaza and Grand Avenue.

Eddie Murphy once owned the Frameworks building and wanted to open a night club there some fools stopped him fearing it was going to bring the ghetto to the center Grove when it would have brought Tinseltown.

Actually I believe he owned where Lokal and the Loft are located, not the FrameWorks building. The 2nd floor was added to the FrameWorks building in anticipation of the nightclub opening....which never happened.
