The Hat Luncheon raises funds for Vizcaya
Vizcaya's only major daytime fundraiser is Tuesday, March 17. The 7th annual Vizcaya Preservation Luncheon is where people make hats. Charity mavens from all over the county attend the lunch and create beautiful headwear in the gardens. Daytime events like this were a tradition in Vizcaya's early years.
At this year’s luncheon, known as, "The Hat Luncheon," you will enjoy cocktails, modeling of precious jewelry by GRAFF Diamonds and elegant fashion looks from Oscar de la Renta. Swanee DiMare is the Honorary Luncheon Chair, and Luncheon Co-Chairs are Sonia Gibson, Linda Levy Goldberg, Barbara Hevia, Laura C. Munilla and Lydia Touzet.
Founded in 2009, the luncheon raises funds to support the preservation of Vizcaya and its educational programs. Preservation Luncheon tickets can be purchased online. Tickets start at $350, and tables of ten are available for $3500 and up. Luncheon Co-Chair Laura Munilla & Max Blumberg pictured.
The luncheon starts at 11 am.
