Paragon Grove 13 is now Cinépolis Theater

 Paragon Grove 13, the movie theater at CocoWalk is now Cinépolis  Theater, a luxury theater chain has bought the former Paragon.

They changed ownership January 1, everything is similar with reserved seating and top of the line food including beer and wine, there is the Sony 4K digital projection system.

Cinépolis is a Mexican chain of movie theaters. Its name means City of Cinema and its slogan is La Capital del Cine. Cinépolis, now part of Coconut Grove, is the biggest cineplex chain in Mexico with 214 theaters in 97 cities. 


The bar and lounge with gourmet food is still part of the theater. They are now AV compatible for events and business meetings and online reserved seating is still available at cinepolisusa.com/film-listings.aspx

The new ticketing system is horrible as the machines are extremely slow and unintuitive. To top it off, last night only ONE of them was working and the line to buy tickets from an actual person was very long! I do hope they sort this out soon.

Tried to purchase tickets on-line Friday and could not. They could not provide a reason why.
